Interview with a new student
Jen here. Today I had the privilege of interviewing the family of one of our new students. While the young boy is nervous about going to school for the first time, he is also excited about building robots and going on field trips. As his family was leaving, I said, “I really look forward to you coming to play with us.”
“Yes,” he said, “You will like it, because I am magic.”
“Wow!” I replied, “What kind of magic can you do?”
“All kinds.”
“Can you fly?” I asked.
“Yes, because I have wings.” was his reply.
I look forward to seeing his wings this year, and the wings of our many new and returning students.

During the month of July some of our staff were able to attend the SVS workshop in Boston MA. The workshop was like an intensive and valuable staff training session. We took lots of pictures and brought back much information. Looking forward to sharing this great information!

The end of year camping trip was a great success!
We were chauffeured to Antelope island by our amazing driver and staff Kyle. Students, staff, and parents sat by the fire and listened to stories, sang, and made music. The kids were so excited that they stayed up for many hours playing with glow sticks. Much thanks to Kyle, Gwen, and all the people who made our experience wonderful!
